Standard International Converter

The Schmidt Standard International Converter brings the convenience of bottled ink to most standard international fountain pens. Built around a smooth twist-piston mechanism, it delivers reliable fills and straightforward maintenance at a modest cost. A practical upgrade from disposable cartridges, it opens access to a wide range of ink colors while keeping your favorite pen ready for everyday writing.

Craftsmanship & Design

Schmidt engineers the converter with precise tolerances for a secure fit and clean operation. The reusable piston design is easy to flush with water, making color changes simple and keeping your pen performing consistently. Its streamlined construction keeps weight low and balance intact.

Use & Compatibility

Attach the converter to your pen’s grip section, immerse the nib in ink, and twist to draw. For a fuller charge, expel air and refill once or twice. This converter is compatible with fountain pens that accept standard international cartridges; it is not suitable for proprietary systems such as those from Lamy, Pilot, Platinum, Parker, and others.
