Monteverde Ink Bottle – Citrine

Monteverde Ink Bottle – Citrine brings the warm glow of its namesake gemstone to the page, laying down a sunny golden-yellow with lively shading. Balanced saturation keeps the hue usable for annotations and journaling accents while still delivering a cheerful pop of color.

Color & Character

This citrine tone leans toward amber, offering translucency that rewards broader or wetter nibs with nuanced shading. In finer points it reads lighter and crisp, ideal for highlights, margin notes, and creative touches.

Performance & Care

Formulated with Monteverde’s ITF (Ink Treatment Formula), this water-based fountain pen ink improves flow, helps resist hard starts, and supports cleaner performance over time. It rinses easily from most pens and converters, making it a low-maintenance choice for regular rotation.
