Monteverde Ink Bottle – Olivine

Grounded and versatile, Monteverde Ink Bottle – Olivine brings a natural olive green character to notes, journals, and correspondence. The hue reads professional yet warm, with enough saturation to stay clear on both white and cream papers.

Color and Formula

This dye-based ink is enhanced with Monteverde’s ITF (Ink Treatment Formula), which helps lubricate the feed, promote smooth flow, and resist clogging for easier pen maintenance. The olivine shade leans earthy and understated, making it a dependable everyday green that does not overwhelm the page.

Writing Experience

Olivine delivers consistent flow across a wide range of nib sizes. Broader nibs tend to reveal gentle shading and tonal depth, while finer points keep lines tidy and legible. Dry times vary by paper, but performance remains well-behaved on most fountain pen friendly stocks, supporting daily note-taking, planning, and longer writing sessions.
